Haunted Hidden Hollows Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Paul Bunyan Land LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), operator of the Haunted Hidden Hollows seasonal attraction and its staff scheduling application (the "Service"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information from individuals who apply to work or volunteer as part of the Haunted Hidden Hollows "Scream Team" ("you," "your," or "Scream Team Member").

By submitting an application through the Service or otherwise providing your information to us, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you apply to join the Scream Team or use the Service, we collect:

• First and last name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Age confirmation (must be 14 years or older to apply)
• Preferred position(s) (e.g., Haunted House, Corn Maze, Main Gate, Security, Driver, Concessions, Ticket Taker, Parking Lot, Ride Operator, etc.)
• Availability for scheduled event nights
• Communication preference (text message, email, or both)
• Optional interest in helping build the attraction prior to the season
• Any additional information you voluntarily provide in free-text fields

If you are scheduled to work an event night, we also maintain records of:

• Your assigned position and schedule for each event
• Attendance records (check-in and confirmation of a completed shift)
• Cancellation or no-show records, for internal scheduling and attendance-tracking purposes
• Payment/compensation records related to nights worked
• Internal notes related to your scheduling (e.g., communications about lateness or availability changes)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate the Haunted Hidden Hollows Scream Team scheduling process, including to:

• Build and manage the seasonal work schedule
• Contact you regarding your assigned schedule, generally with one confirmed-schedule message per week during the active season
• Notify you of event cancellations (for example, due to weather)
• Invite you to apply for a future season prior to that season's start
• Track attendance and eligibility for any season-end recognition or bonus program
• Track and confirm payment for nights worked
• Respond to messages or questions you send us

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing unrelated to Haunted Hidden Hollows, or any purpose beyond operating the Scream Team scheduling process described above.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Consent

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Haunted Hidden Hollows / Paul Bunyan Land LLC related to your scheduling, including:

• Your weekly confirmed schedule (approximately one message per week during the active season)
• Event cancellation or last-minute schedule change alerts
• Pre-season and post-season messages, such as an invitation to apply for the upcoming season

Message frequency varies but is generally limited to about once per week during the season, plus occasional messages outside the season. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of being scheduled or participating as a Scream Team Member.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, we may still contact you by email or phone call regarding your scheduling, if you have provided that contact information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with any other business, system, or organization, including other Paul Bunyan Land systems, except as described below:

• We use a third-party SMS messaging provider and a third-party email service provider solely to deliver messages to you on our behalf. These providers process your contact information only to transmit messages and do not use it for their own purposes.
• We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the safety of our staff, guests, or property.

6. Data Retention

We retain Scream Team Member information for approximately 13 months from the date of collection or your last activity with us, which allows us to reach out with an invitation to apply for the following season. After this period, your information is deleted from our active systems unless you have reapplied and a new retention period has begun.

You may request earlier deletion of your information at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 9 below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service requires applicants to be at least 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including restricting access to authorized administrators, encrypting data in transit, and maintaining regular backups of our systems. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation as a Scream Team Member after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
